We had a fun trip to The Henry Ford Museum with Grammy and Bop-Bop. The boys loved the cars, trains and airplanes and Jasper pointed at lots of vehicles and said "bus!".

Dinner conversation
Liam: "Mommy, I have something to tell you."
Sarah: "What, Liam?" (Thinking some serious problem is about to be revealed.)
Liam: "Penguins have wings but they don't fly!!"

Trip to London
We had a fun visit to London this weekend. The boys got to walk around in the snow (the first they've seen this year) and help Grammy Robin fill the birdfeeders. We visited Wayne and Judy (married now and expecting a baby boy due December 10) and also got to visit with Great-Grammy Wright. We'll be back on Christmas!

Jasper

Jasper is still hovering around the 20 lb mark but seems to be very athletic. If he wants something, he figures out how to get it. It took him a while to get himself up on The Horse but now that he can do it he bounces so high that only his hands are still touching The Horse. (Makes me nervous just thinking about it!)
He is saying new words every week - Mama, Dada, puppa (puppy), p-ssss (please), ch-ssss (cheese), more, done, Bop-Bop (my dad), mine, no, a buh! (a bus or a ball). He's been overheard singing Baa baa black sheep at school but won't sing it if you ask him to.
Liam
Liam played soccer this fall with his neighbor friend, David. He didn't always feel like playing in the games though. He preferred the practices where everyone had a ball to kick.
Liam is enjoying "Pre-K" which is at the daycare (school) for an hour each day. He has learned to write his first and last name.

First Posting

Here's my latest attempt at keeping friends and family updated.
October 31, 2007
The monkey and race car driver had a ball on Halloween. We thought Jasper would lose interest after a few houses but he wanted to do the whole block (20 houses). When Liam was trying to go to sleep that night, he said "Mommy, why isn't Halloween EVERY night?"
